Psychotherapies (Supervised)

PLEASE READ FIRST

This is a restricted, advanced course.

Psychotherapies (Supervised) is not an open-entry course. It is for those already working or training in mental health, as it involves supervised clinical learning inside a real psychiatric hospital.

Open to

  • Psychology graduates (BS/BA Psychology or higher)
  • Psychology interns currently in training
  • Doctors and medical professionals (MBBS and above)

Not for

This course is not suitable for the general public or those without a relevant clinical or psychology background. Our admissions team confirms eligibility before enrolment.

WHY THIS COURSE

Reading about therapy and practising it are fundamentally different.

Understanding therapeutic models on paper is not the same as applying them with a real person, in a real setting, with a supervisor guiding you. This course addresses that gap directly.

THE COMMON GAP

Theory-only exposure

  • Models studied in isolation

Approaches learned as concepts, never practised under expert guidance.

  • No supervised environment

Few programmes provide a genuine clinical environment with supervision in which to learn.

  • Uncertain application

Practitioners may know the model but feel unsure how to apply it safely and appropriately with real clients.

WHAT WE DO DIFFERENTLY

Supervised, in-hospital training

  • Structured across major approaches

CCT, CT, BT, REBT, and family and group therapy: taught as an integrated, supervised programme.

  • Inside a working hospital

Learn within a real psychiatric setting, under experienced clinical supervision at every stage.

  • Applied, not abstract

Develop genuine competence in applying approaches appropriately under guidance: not from a textbook alone.

No. It is supervised training in these approaches. Whether you can practise independently depends on your underlying qualification and registration: this certificate is professional development, not an independent-practice licence.
