THE MIND BEHIND THE INSTITUTE
Shakoor Mind Care Institute was founded by Prof. Dr. Abdul Shakoor, a psychiatrist and Professor of Behavioural Science with 36 years of teaching and clinical practice. He established this college on his own land, beside his working psychiatric hospital, on a conviction that has guided his entire career: that the most effective way to heal minds is to develop them, and the most rigorous way to develop them is through education grounded in real clinical experience. That conviction is why students here study psychology where psychology actually happens.
